After ten years of war, the people of Argos are waiting for their king, Agamemnon, to return home in triumph and glory after destroying Troy and enslaving its people. But the queen, Klytaimestra, has never forgotten what he did for the gods to allow the thousand ships of Greece to sail to Troy. He sacrificed their daughter, Iphigeneia. And now she waits for him too.
