ISDA – Seduced

Dramsoc National University of Ireland, Galway are delighted to present Seduced.

Reclusive billionaire Henry Hackamore has lived alone for 21 years with only his loyal bodyguard, Raul, at his side. Henry, realizing that he is coming to the end of his life has called two beautiful women from his past in order to save him from his growing madness. Once they arrive, however, his personal demons and paranoia grow until they consume him and everyone else in his life.

The world’s richest man summons two mysterious beautiful women from his past during his final hours. Are they there to save him or is there something more insidious at work?

Sam Shepard is an American playwright known for his powerful and insightful portrayals of American life. Themes in his work range from gender to the end of the all life on the planet. He is considered one of the great playwrights of the 20th century.

Lane McLeod Jackson is student in the Masters of Drama and Theatre. He is honored to have the opportunity to make theatre both here at ISDA and in Ireland.
