With an upcoming referendum on equal marriage due in May, this is an entertaining and topical evening consisting of nine short plays about marriage. You’ll laugh, cry and understand what all the fuss is about!
A cast of 12 men and women, drawn from Dublin’s LGBT community who have performed at the International Dublin Gay Theatre Festival and The Outburst Festival, Belfast and who regularly perform at their home, in The Outhouse, Dublin perform nine short plays. Some funny, some sad, but all about the joys and pains of marriage: A lesbian couple have second thoughts about their upcoming nuptials as they wait to board a plane, a woman becomes convinced that her new gay neighbours their have eyes on her husband, and in another play, one of the grooms in a gay couple locks himself in the hotel bathroom, on the eve of his wedding.
