INVENTING A NEW COLOUR
Granary Theatre | 16th - 19th January | 8pm | €7 / €5
Inventing a New Colour is a poetic and intimate tale about human realtionships, about growing up, about dreams and about war.
It is Exeter, it is England and it is the spring and summer of 1942. It is the middle of the second world war and Exeter is bombed, but what matters here is the family; June, Eric, Francis and Peter, the evacuee, and their little things. It is that moment, as if now. Like all families, this one is not perfect, they have their fair share of ups and downs. Then a bomb blows up, sweeping away everything that was solid and comforting in their world.
