“You are my life, Runt”
”And you me, Pig”

disturbing … significant … compassionate - iconic in Irish modern theatre. Born on the same day, in the same ward, Pig and Runt have been inseparable since birth. As their 17th birthday approaches, they embark on a hedonistic and violent rampage through the nightclubs of ‘Pork City’. Disco Pigs follows the story of these two extraordinary Cork teenagers, who speak a language and live in a world they have created for themselves.

Described as ‘an Irish Clockwork Orange’, Disco Pigs is the story of Pig and Runt: two inseparable violent creatures. Needing no one else, they reign over their own world, carving their way through 'Pork City' in a reckless pursuit of pleasure.

But their world begins to disintegrate. Runt begins to see there might be more to life, but Pig’s unpredictable nature begins to spiral out of control in a trail of violence and destruction.

The inseparable are about to separate with devastating consequences….

Directed by Tony McCleane-Fay
with Shane Casey as Pig and Samantha Heaney as Runt
